Rev Airin's Bio

Rev Airin Wolf is an ordained Unity Minister currently serving at Unity of the Shenandoah. Spirit led, fed, and operated, she teaches others to listen to Spirit and lives from the heart. Her philosophy of ministry includes empowering the spiritual growth of each individual soul in a diversity oriented church that is community centered rather than minister centered.
Rev Airin’s path to ministry began 23 years ago. At that time she was inspired by Eric Butterworth, a well known Unity Minister and writer. In his writing he talks about dedicating yourself to living a life of prayer. As she chose to do this, it changed her life one word at a time, to one sentence, to one thought at a time. This development of a consciousness of prayer then out pictured into the life she gratefully lives.
Airin has always been active in the community wherever she has lived. She has volunteered her time with battered women, grieving children and adult programs and playing her djembe drum in music ministries. A renaissance woman, she has many interests and passions. Her career before ministry was working with children in group homes and the public school system as a youth and family counselor, one to one in the classroom, substitute teacher and tutor with students of all ability and behavior levels. She is a lover of animals and plans to train her own dog to be a therapy dog. She also owned and operated her own landscaping business and renovated houses.
Rev Airin is a trained healer and maintains a writing practice. She has created two meditations CD’s with the help of friends, and combined her watercolor paintings with her poetry producing spiritual message cards. She has also developed a prototype of her poetry book which she plans to publish. You might also be interested in seeing these on her website: Click here
