  • ..Wednesday October 11th Mid-Week Prayer Service Come Ye Apart a While, an opportunity for prayer, meditation, contemplation and reflection. UPCOMING ACTIVITIES

  • UPCOMING ACTIVITIES

  • ..Monday October 2nd A Course In Miracles study group Continues at Unity at 7:30 P.M. Please join US if you would like to be part of the group or are interested in knowing more about it. At the first meeting Brian Jones, an experienced facilitator, will be with US to help us set up our plan for future meetings. Tammy Bacha is the person who has called the group together.

The introduction to the course reads as follows:

"This is A Course in Miracles. It is a required course. Only the time you take it is voluntary. Free will does not mean you can establish the curriculum. It means only that you can elect what you want to take at a given time. The course does not aim at teaching the meaning of love, for that is beyond what can be taught. It does aim, however, at removing the blocks to the awareness of love’s presence, which is your natural inheritance. The opposite of love is fear, but what is all encompassing can have no opposite. This course can therefore be summed up very simply in this way: Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God."

Combined in one book are the text, a workbook for Students and a manual for Teachers. A Course in Miracles is not a religion. There is no dogma and there is no doctrine. It is however an explanation of universal spiritual themes that are found at the heart of all great religious and spiritual teachings.

I hope you get the idea. We are each going to give a bit of our biography. Supplementing your contribution with pictures or other visual or audio items is encouraged.
